New York Giants Sunday night in the New Meadowlands, the 1-2 New York Giants get set to host the unbeaten Chicago Bears. The Bears look to improve upon their best start since their Super Bowl season of four years ago while the Giants try to bounce back from two straight losses.
Apparently, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler needed some time to settle in and get used to his new surroundings, an entire season. Last year Cutler was just awful. It's been a different story in 2010 with Cutler throwing for 870 yards six touchdowns and just two interceptions.
From a Fantasy Football standpoint, Cutler is quickly becoming a must-start.
Other Bears are putting up some nice fantasy numbers as well. Running back Matt Forte has more than 300 total yards from scrimmage in
Tight-end Greg Olsen is become a prime target for Cutler. He has 10 catches for 140 yards and two touchdowns thus far this season. Those are great numbers for a tight-end.
For the Giants, they have basically done nothing for fantasy owners.
Quarterback Eli Manning has thrown for a lot of yards (810), but his 6 interceptions in just three games has put a serious damper on his fantasy scoring capabilities. Even if Manning he can take care of the ball better, he is nothing more than a No. 2 option or bye week replacement.
Running back Ahmad Bradshaw has been okay, however he has yet to hit the 100 yard mark in 2010. Brandon Jacobs has been non-existent. Right now, he is nothing more than the highest paid bench-warmer in the NFL.
