When the San Francisco 49ers come to Atlantic this Sunday to take on the Falcons, quarterback Matt Ryan may be looking at a big day throwing the football.
Ryan threw for 228 yards and two touchdowns last week at New Orleans. That gave Ryan five touchdown passes over his last two games. He has been putting up some serious fantasy numbers and he will look to stay hot against the winless Niners.
Ryan is 14-1 with a 96.4 quarterback rating as a starter at home. This week he faces a 49ers defense that is giving up a lot of points. San Francisco has let up 87 point in their first three games. They are 28th in the league in most fantasy points given up against opposing QB's.
Matt Ryan is a must-start against the 49ers in Week 4 at home.
The Niners poor defense also makes running back Micheal Turner an attractive option this week. San Francisco is only slightly better against the run. They ranked 24th in the NFL in most fantasy points given up against opposing RB's.
San Francisco may have problems coming up with wins, but Frank Gore is not having trouble racking up fantasy points. Gore has been the team's only real bright spot on offense. Gore is seventh among running backs in fantasy points. His skills as a receiver make him an asset even with his team throwing the ball.
Gore is a solid must-start for this and every week for the Niners.
For this week's game in the Georgia Dome, Matt Ryan and Frank Gore appear to be the best fantasy options.
