Green Bay Packers In one of the oldest rivalries in pro football, the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers get set to face-off in primetime at Soldier Field. Monday night's showdown between unbeatens should prove to be a good one as both the Bears and the Packers come in at 2-0.
Monday's fantasy outlook appears to be pretty strong for owners with players playing on Monday Night Football.
For the home team, the Bears' running back Matt Forte has been a serious fantasy scorer in the teams' first two games. While Forte has not done much for Chicago's ground game, he has been a beast in the Bears passing attack. Against the Lions in week one and last week against the Cowboys, Forte has hauled in 12 passes for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Add-on another 80 or so yards on the ground, Forte is a must-start in almost all fantasy formats.
In
Cutler has been a pleasant surprise to owners who were most likely able to get him in the later rounds of their drafts. Cutler has seemed to fixed his interception problems of a year ago. He has racked up 649 yards and 5 touchdowns to just one pick in two games.
The big question will be whether or not Cutler can do it agianst a Packers defense that has played extremely well against the pass, but ranks 28th in the league against the run.
I would suggest starting Matt Forte, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers defense in almost all formats.
