Now that the 2010 Fantasy Football season is in full swing, most of the league's big-named quarterbacks are indeed pulling their weight as week 3 gets started on Sunday afternoon.

The likes of Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers have been productive and have to be pleasing their owners. However, the biggest news heading into this week has fantasy players turning back the clock a few years to find some production under center.

With the Philadelphia Eagles' announcement that Michael Vick will be their signal call for week 3, the former fantasy stud was lighting up waiver wires and become a hot commodity on the free agent market.

Vick looked like the explosive player that used to light up defenses in week 2 when he got his first start in years. He torched the Detroit Lions for just under 300 yards through the air and by putting up nearly another 40 on the ground and tossing two touchdowns, Vick was a huge point scorer once again. Against the Lions, Vick proved his exceptional relief performance in week 1 was not a fabrication.

In many fantasy formats, Vick is projected to score more than 40 points this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Another QB that was not even drafted in many leagues has been putting up some serious points as of late. That man is Denver Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton. Thus far, Orton has passed for over 600 yards, 3 touchdown and just 1 interception in his first two games.

Numbers like that will earn him a starting spot in almost all leagues, especially those with 10 or more teams or two QB formats.

In Pittsburgh, a player thought by many fans to be long-gone is getting the start for the Steelers. Charlie Batch will replace Dennis Dixon under center after a knee injury cut short the young quarterback's season. The Steelers are expected to lean on the running game, so Batch only has value in extremely deep leagues.

Former Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen will be making his first NFL start, but should not be active until he proves something in the pros.
