Monday Night Football - New York Jets vs San Diego Chargers

The New York Jets travel across country to take on the Chargers on Monday Night Football in San Diego. Bookmakers are calling the betting odds San Diego -8 1/2 and a total of 45 point.
The Chargers are 0-2, but could easily be 2-0. San Diego quarterback Philip Rivers has been lighting up defenses throwing for 594 yards and 6 touchdowns in 2 games. Running back LaDainian Tomlinson, nursing a toe injury, returned to practice in a limited role on Friday and is listed as questionable. If Tomlinson can not go, Darren Sproles is expected to make the start.

Sunday night the Packers and the Cowboys face off in Prime time in a battle of unbeatens. Odds makers are calling the Cowboys a 3 point favorite as they come into Lambeau Field in Green Bay. The total is sitting at 50 1/2.
The Packers at 2-0 have been playing excellent football behind there new quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has gone 42-of-60 for 506 yards and 4 touchdowns while throwing no interceptions.

Denver Broncos WR Brandon Marshall Brought Up On Charges

Prosecutors in Fulton County, Georgia have filed two counts of misdemeanor battery against Denver Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall. Police say that Marshall allegedly threw his ex-girlfriend on a bed, slapped her and damaged her apartment on March 4th.
The news coming just days after Marshall hauled in 18 catches for 166 yards and a touchdown, earning him AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
Marshall said he has been waiting for the charges to be filed for months...

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger To Play Despite Sore Shoulder

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin discussed quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's sore shoulder in Tuesday's news conference, saying that his QB's nursing a mild sprain. Tomlin dismissed reports that Roethlisberger was playing with a separated right shoulder on Sunday night against the Browns.
"I have no idea where that report came from," Tomlin said. "It did not come from me or my medical staff. The guy has a sore shoulder, just an AC sprain."

Indianapolis Colts Safety Bob Sanders Out For Six Weeks

The Associated Press is reporting that Colts safety Bob Sanders could be out for up to six weeks with a high ankle sprain. Sanders, the 2007 Defensive Player of the Year, injured the ankle in the second half of Sunday's win over the Minnesota Vikings.
Indianapolis general manager Bill Polian said that the Colts are not yet 100 percent sure of the severity of the injury, but it was safe to assume Sanders would miss 4-6 weeks. Polian also said the Pro Bowl safety could be having arthroscopic surgery on his knees while he recovers from the ankle sprain.
"He will be back, that is for sure," Polian said. Team doctors will have a clearer picture...
