    New England Patriots
    New England Patriots
On Monday Night Football, the Denver Broncos head to New England to do battle with the Patriots. Odds makers are calling the Patriots a 3 point favorite with the total sitting at 48.

Since losing NFL MVP Tom Brady to a season-ending knee injury in the first quarter of their opener, the 3-2 Patriots have not looked anything like the team that posted the first 16-0 regular season in NFL history in 2007. Led by career backup Matt Cassel, the offense has struggled...

    Washington Redskins
    Washington Redskins
A week ago, the Cleveland Browns appeared to break out of their shell and show the league a glimpse of the team that was 10-6 last season when they upset the defending Champion Giants 35-14. This week the 2-3 Browns head to Washington to take on the 4-2 Redskins. Odds makers are calling Washington a 7 1/2 point favorite at home against the surging Browns.

The Browns were led by quarterback Derick Anderson and wide-out Braylon Edwards in the victory against New York. Anderson was 18-of-29 for 310 yards and two touchdowns...

    Raiders vs Jets
    Raiders vs Jets
The New York Jets head out the west coast to take on the Oakland Raiders at McAfee Coliseum. Odds makers say the Jets are 3 point favorites on the road with the total sitting at 41.

Jets quarterback Brett Favre has bittersweet memories from the last time he played in Oakland. As a member of the Packers, Favre was 22-of-30 for 399 yards with four touchdowns on a night he was grieving the death of his father.

"It was obviously a tough time," Favre recalled, "but it was one of those games that everything I seemed to do was right."

    Indianapolis Colts

Sunday afternoon the Indianapolis Colts head to Lambeau Field in Green Bay to take on the Packers. Odds makers call the Colts a 1 point favorite with the total set at 47.

After starting off 1-2, the Colts have won two in a row coming off their bye in week four. Against both the Texan and the Ravens, Indianapolis has put up 31 points and with what appears to be a fully recovered Peyton Manning; they are running on all cylinders on offense.

Manning was 19-of-28 for 271 yards and three touchdowns and more importantly, no interceptions against the league's top-rated defense...

    Saints vs Panthers
    Saints vs Panthers
Sunday the 3-3 New Orleans Saints head to Charlotte, North Carolina to take on the 4-2 Panthers. Odds makers are calling the Panthers a 3 point favorite at home with the total sitting at 45.

Inconsistency has plagued the Saints through the season's first six games. With an average of 412.2 yards per game, New Orleans has one the leagues most prolific offenses, but penalties and turnovers have been their downfall.

Quarterback Drew Brees took it upon himself to help New Orleans try to overcome the mistakes last Sunday, even reminding his team in the huddle to stay disciplined.

    San Diego Chargers

The AFC East-leading Buffalo Bills will be trying to get back on track this week as they return home to take on the high-powered San Diego Chargers, who are looking for their fourth win in five games. Odds maker call this game even with the total set at 44 1/2.

Despite a 41-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinal on October 5, the 4-1 Bills are off to a surprising start due to in no small part to the play of quarterback Trent Edwards and a defense that, before the Arizona game, was giving up a mere 15.6 points per game. But in Arizona, Edwards left the game after three plays with a concussion...

    Trent Edwards
    Trent Edwards
Bills quarterback Trent Edwards participated in drills Monday after taking a full week off to recover from a significant concussion he suffered from a hit by Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson.

"I feel as close to 100 per cent as possible," Edwards said. "Today's practice went well. I've never had a concussion to this extent before so I don't really know what the time frame is to get healthy from it. I'm happy and excited that I'm out there with my team-mates."

    Edwards insists he feels completely...

    Willie Parker
    Willie Parker
Tough break for Willie Parker and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Reports out of Pittsburgh are saying that the Pro-Bowl running back re-injured the MCL injury that has kept him out the past couple of weeks when he stepped in a hole at the Steelers practice facility on Monday.

Parker hasn't played since Sept. 21, but practiced Monday and was expected to play Sunday in Cincinnati. Now his return is now in doubt.

"We're going to take it day by day," Parker said...
