Now that the pain of being past over for the head coaching position has subsided and Brian Schottenheimer has decided to stay on as New York Jets offensive coordinator he is trying to unify his offense.
"At the end of the day, after the smoke cleared," said Schottenheimer. "I really did feel this was the best place for me."

After 127 days as interim head coach of the Raiders, Tom Cable is now officially the main man in Oakland. Cable will be officially introduced as the head coach at an Wednesday news conference at the team's facility in Alameda, California.
