The no. 10 ranked Wisconsin Badgers travel to Fresno State to take on the no. 21 ranked Bulldogs. Odds makers are calling the Badgers a 1 point favorite on the road in their first true test of the season. Fresno State (1-0) is easily going to be Wisconsin's toughest opponent so far.

After rushing for more than 400 yards in their season opener against Akron and passing for more than 300 against Marshall last week, the Badgers will see if they are for real against the Bulldogs.

"It shows that that we're balanced on offense and we can do both," said Badgers QB Allan Evridge...

The South Carolina Gamecocks host the no. 2 ranked Georgia Bulldogs in this early season SEC match-up. Despite not losing a game in their first two contests, Georgia has lost it's no. 1 ranking to the USC Trojans. The Bulldogs may be heading into Columbia with a bit of a chip on their shoulder. Odds makers are calling Georgia a 7 point favorite on the road.

Now that they begin their SEC schedule, Georgia is looking to regain their no. 1 ranking. "This is a different brand of athletes from what we played in the first two games," said head Georgia coach Mark Richt.

The Michigan Wolverines travel to South Bend to take on the Fighting Irish in an early season defensive battle. This one pits two struggling offenses against two good defenses. Odds makers are calling Michigan a 2 point favorite on the road with the over set at 37.

Simply put, the Irish played a bad San Diego State team last week and struggled on offense. It's not going to get any easier against Michigan. Charlie Weis' offense is not scaring anyone these days.

Friday night features a very good match up between the 13th ranked Kansas Jayhawks and the 19th ranked South Florida Bulls. Kansas travels to Tampa's Raymond James Stadium as a 3 1/2 point underdog and look to upset the Bulls win it's forth consecutive game against a ranked opponent.

Jayhawks QB Todd Reesing is leading an offense that is averaging almost 35 points per game. Reesing has passed for 668 yards and 6 touchdowns over the 1st two games, Dezmon Briscoe at WR has become his favorite target. So far in '08, Briscoe has compiled 16 catches for 201 yards and 4 touchdowns.

In a statement just released by Jim Tressel, the Ohio State Buckeyes coach says that it is doubtful that starting running back Chris "Beanie" Wells will play Saturday against the top ranked USC Trojans.

After saying on Tuesday that Wells was good to go for Saturday, Coach Tressel said that lingering affects and soreness from Wednesday's work out kept Wells out of practice today.

Wells injured his right foot in 5th ranked Ohio State's opener against Youngstown State.

    Tar Heels vs Scarlet Knights

Thursday night's lone game on the schedule features the North Carolina Tar Heels taking a trip up to Jersey to battle the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers. Both teams match-up pretty evenly in terms of skill. Odds makers are calling the Scarlet Knights a 5 point favorite at home.

The early money has been on the Tar Heels in this one, it seems betters have not been impressed with the Scarlett Knights at home as the line opened at 5 1/2. Rutgers had major problems on defense against Fresno State a week ago, giving up over 200 yards on the ground and over 5 yards per carry.
