Last week against South Carolina, the Georgia Bulldogs narrowly pulled out a win in a shootout with their SEC rival to avoid its first 0-2 start in more than a decade.
On Saturday night, the 23rd-ranked Bulldogs look to build on their first victory and answer another defensive challenge when they visit the Razorbacks. Arkansas is coming off their best offensive showing under second-year coach Bobby Petrino.

Saturday night the Florida State Seminoles head west to take on BYU in what should prove to be an exciting match-up. LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo has proven to give the Cougars one of the nation's top home-field advantages over the past few seasons, however an even bigger buzz is expected as BYU has the program's highest ranking in more than a dozen years.
In their highly anticipated home opener, NCAA odds makers have the seventh-ranked Cougars as more than a touchdown favorite. The line is sitting at...

Saturday afternoon when the Tennessee Volunteers come to town one might wonder how Florida coach Urban Meyer can possibly keep his Gators team focused when they are more than a four touchdown favorite.
Well look no further than Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin's big mouth. Kiffin's false recruiting allegations and his pledge to sing "Rocky Top" all night long after beating Florida have given the top-ranked Gators a little extra motivation for Saturday.

NCAA Football Betting Odds - Fresno State at Boise State

The Boise State Broncos have won seven of their past eight against the Fresno State Bulldogs, including a 61-10 win in 2008. Not since 2005 has Fresno State been able to take home a win in this match-up, when The Broncos jumped out to a 7-0 lead before the Bulldogs rattled off 27 consecutive points to beat the Broncos at Bulldog Stadium.
This season, a BCS Bowl berth seems within grasp for Boise State if they can make it through its conference schedule unbeaten. However, the Bulldogs might have something to say about that.

Jim Tressel Is Under Fire But Still Calling The Plays

In the wake of the Ohio State Buckeyes' 18-15 loss to No. 3 USC and sixth consecutive loss to a top-10 team, Jim Tressel says he has no desire to give up calling plays and will not change his offensive philosophy.
Tressel's approach has always basically been built on playing for field position, avoiding turnovers cost and counting on defense and special teams to control and win games.
For the first time in his nine years in Columbus, Tressel is feeling the heat and being criticized for his conservative offensive...

Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Joe Cox has been battling flu symptoms for almost two weeks now and coach Mark Richt may be getting ill as well. He is apparently sick of all the questions.
"We were going to tell him to wear an eye patch to media day," said Richt with a smile at his weekly news conference.
A flu virus, including a fever of 100 degrees, forced Cox to take a separate private plane to Georgia's season-opening 24-10 loss at...

The no. 10 ranked Wisconsin Badgers travel to Fresno State to take on the no. 21 ranked Bulldogs. Odds makers are calling the Badgers a 1 point favorite on the road in their first true test of the season. Fresno State (1-0) is easily going to be Wisconsin's toughest opponent so far.
After rushing for more than 400 yards in their season opener against Akron and passing for more than 300 against Marshall last week, the Badgers will see if they are for real against the Bulldogs.
"It shows that that we're balanced on offense and we can do both," said Badgers QB Allan Evridge...

The South Carolina Gamecocks host the no. 2 ranked Georgia Bulldogs in this early season SEC match-up. Despite not losing a game in their first two contests, Georgia has lost it's no. 1 ranking to the USC Trojans. The Bulldogs may be heading into Columbia with a bit of a chip on their shoulder. Odds makers are calling Georgia a 7 point favorite on the road.
Now that they begin their SEC schedule, Georgia is looking to regain their no. 1 ranking. "This is a different brand of athletes from what we played in the first two games," said head Georgia coach Mark Richt.

Notre Dame vs Michigan - NCAA Betting Odds

The Michigan Wolverines travel to South Bend to take on the Fighting Irish in an early season defensive battle. This one pits two struggling offenses against two good defenses. Odds makers are calling Michigan a 2 point favorite on the road with the over set at 37.
Simply put, the Irish played a bad San Diego State team last week and struggled on offense. It's not going to get any easier against Michigan. Charlie Weis' offense is not scaring anyone these days.
