For the second weekend this year, the NCAA has seen three teams in the top five lose.
With Missouri and LSU losing along with the Texas Longhorns 45-35 win in the Red River Rivalry against Oklahoma, the Longhorns moved right past No. 2 Alabama (idle) to sit atop the Top 25 poll. Texas received 39 first-place votes and 1,599 points from the media panel. Alabama received the other 36 first-place votes and 1,582 points.

Two of the nation's most dynamic offenses will be on display on Saturday night in Columbia, where the 3rd-ranked Missouri Tigers host the 17th-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys. Odds makers are calling the Tigers a 14 point favorite at home.
Missouri quarterback Chase Daniel was a Heisman Trophy runner-up a season ago. Chase finished fifth in the country in passing yards and lead Missouri to a 12-2 record and a No. 4 finish in the Top 25 poll. This week's installment of the SEC game of the week features the no. 4 ranked LSU Tigers heading to Gainesville to take on the no. 11 ranked Florida Gators. It is the first time in 18 years that the National Champions from the previous two years have met in a regular season game. Betting odds makers say that the Gators are 6 point favorites in the Swamp.
Even with LSU winning two of the last three meetings in Gainesville, Tigers coach Les Miles will not be taking this one lightly.

The 3-2 Clemson Tigers travel to North Carolina on Thursday night to take on the 3-1 Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Odds makers are calling Wake a 2 1/2 point favorite.
At the start of the season this game was expected to be huge in the chase for the ACC Atlantic Division title. Although it may still prove to be, both teams are now coming off defeats. The no. 21 ranked Demon Deacons and the disappointing Tigers both look to bounce back from tough losses as they resume their quests for the division championship.
Clemson, ranked no. 9 in the preseason, got blown out 34-10 in its season opener against Alabama.
