    Florida State Seminoles
The 18th ranked Demon Deacons travel to Tallahassee to battle the 24th ranked Seminoles on Saturday night. There has been a lot of talk about this one all week since the Noles broke into the Top 25. The big question to be answered tonight is if the Seminoles are for real. Wake Forest comes into Doak Campbell Stadium as a 5 point underdog with the total set at 48.

Florida State still remembers the 30-0 shellacking Wake handed them the last time these two met at Doak. The Seminoles are now 2-0 after beating Western Carolina and Chattanooga by a combine score of 115-7. Florida State has looked impressive, but against subdivision teams...

    Alabama Crimson Tide
    Alabama Crimson Tide
Saturdays SEC showdown between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Arkansas Razorbacks is an intriguing match-up. The Crimson Tide comes into Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium a 9 1/2 point favorite, while the total sits at 47.

Alabama coach Nick Saban was hired to bring back a championship to the Crimson Tide and nothing less. There is a sense that this year may be their best chance in years. Alabama comes in to Arkansas with a 3-0 record and looks to continue their success. In week one the Crimson Tide routed an overrated Clemson team 34-10. Now they begin the SEC schedule against a tough Razorbacks team on the road.

The Razorbacks are 2-0 and in a similar situation...

The 4th ranked Florida Gators will travel to Knoxville to take on their SEC rival Tennessee on Saturday. The Gators come in as a 7 1/2 point favorite against the Volunteers on the road in Rocky Top.

The 2-0 Gators have beat up on the Vols in the last few meetings against Tennessee. Gators coach Urban Meyer has an undefeated record against UT. Saturday's match-up will be key in deciding the SEC East Champion. Either the Gators or the Volunteers have played in the Championship in 13 out of the last 16 years.

Tim Tebow, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, will lead the Gators offense. Tebow will be looking to, a healthy, Percy Harvin to have a big day against the Vols defense...

    Bulldogs vs Sun Devils
    Bulldogs vs Sun Devils
Saturday night the no. 3 ranked Georgia Bulldogs head out west to take on Arizona State in a match-up that has lost a little of it's luster since the Sun Devils have drop out of the Top 25. Arizona State's stunning lose to a UNLV team that has won just two games in each of the last four seasons has coach Dennis Erickson questioning his team.

"I don't know if we should have been in there to start with, said Erickson." However, the Sun Devils coach remained up-beat this week. "Although we didn't play well (against UNLV), there are a lot of things left to play for."

The Bulldogs come in as a 7 point favorite...

    Auburn vs LSU
    Auburn vs LSU
The no. 6 ranked LSU Tigers face-off against no. 10 Auburn in a classic SEC West battle that is expected to be the most watched college game of the weekend. Odds makers are calling LSU a 2 1/2 point favorite as they travel to Auburn.

"It's an unbelievable scenario," says Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville. "This is one of the best college football games of the last ten years. For some reason a lot of these other games get built up, but there's not been a better one year in and year out than the LSU-Auburn game."

If you like defense, the 2008 installment of this rivalry should not disappoint...

    Colorado Buffaloes
    Colorado Buffaloes
Thursday night's game between the No. 21 West Virginia Mountaineers and the Colorado Buffaloes is shaping up to be an interesting match-up. The Mountaineers are trying to gain back some credibility after losing to East Carolina on September 6th. The Buffaloes, 2-0 with wins over Eastern Washington and Colorado State, are 3 point underdogs at home against West Virginia with the total set at 56 1/2.

Although they have looked impressive, the Seminoles have only beaten Western Carolina and Tennessee-Chattanooga, both division 1-AA schools. Their first real test will be this Saturday against the 19th ranked Wake Forest Demon Deacons, a team that in most polls is the best team in the ACC.
