The 2nd ranked Oklahoma Sooners play host to the 24th ranked TCU Horned Frogs in Norman. Odds makers call the Sooners 18 1/2 point betting favorites against the Frogs.

Oklahoma (3-0) has three lopsided victories thus far in 2008. The Sooners crushed Chattanooga, Cincinnati and Washington by a total score of 164-42. After a tough loss to LSU a week ago the Auburn Tigers host Tennessee in another nice SEC match up. Odds makers are calling Auburn a 6 1/2 point favorite at home against the Vols with the total set at 40 1/2.

Tennessee has had a rough go of it so far in 2008 and it's not going to get any easier for the Vols against Auburn. The Tigers are coming off a heart breaking last minute loss to LSU in what could have propelled Auburn into the national spotlight.

The no. 12 ranked Penn State Nittany Lions are 4-0 coming into their first real test Saturday against the 22nd ranked Fighting Illini. Penn State has rolled through the early non-conference part of their schedule by out scoring their opponents 211-40. Odds makers are calling Penn State a 15 1/2 point favorite over Illinois as they begin their Big-Ten Schedule.

"We want to play and move on and start playing in the Big Ten," said co-offensive coordinator Jay Paterno. "Everyone can talk about how well we are doing on the field, but we have to go play and compete."

In the wake of the USC Trojans stunning lose to the Oregon State Beavers, top teams have to be weary of the games they 'are supposed to win'. The 4th ranked Florida Gators have one such game this week. The Ole Miss Rebels come to Gainesville as 22 1/2 point underdogs.

Mississippi hopes to pressure the Florida secondary with their 4th in the SEC passing attack. Sophomore quarterback Jevan Snead has thrown for 844 yards and 6 touchdowns in the Rebels first four games.

It seems that every week the SEC gives us a battle of powerhouses. This week's installment showcases the no. 3 ranked Georgia Bulldogs hosting the 8th ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. Odds makers are calling the Bulldogs a 6 1/2 point favorite at home with the total sitting at 44.

Georgia (4-0) began the season at #1 but has dropped to #3 without losing a game. The Bulldogs continue to play very well with last week's convincing 27-10 victory...

The no. 1 ranked USC Trojans head north to take on the Oregon State Beavers as they begin their PAC-10 schedule. The 2-0 Trojans have not play since their 35-3 thrashing of the Ohio State Buckeyes on September 13th. Thursday night they head into Oregon State with odds makers calling USC a 25 1/2 point favorite on the road with the total sitting at 52.

There was not much movement this week's Top 25 Poll as most ranked teams did what they need to do maintain their status. Both the no. 1 ranked USC Trojans and the no. 2 ranked Oklahoma Sooners were idle this weekend and remained 1 and 2.

The Georgia Bulldogs beat nationally ranked Arizona State convincingly 27-10 on the road to keep their no. 3 ranking. Bulldogs quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver AJ Green had a big day hooking up for 8 passes for 159 yards and a touchdown. Stafford was 16-of-28 for 285 yards against the Sun Devils.
